Tata Motors of India (the current owners of Jaguar and Land Rover) have a interesting car that is presently being sold in India for under $5,000.00. It is called the Tata Nano, it is 4 door sedan, manual transmission only at present but gets in excess of 45 miles to the gallon. Their website is www.tatanano.com .
